Yakima County Sheriff's deputies investigated a report of shots fired near Sunnyside yesterday (Tuesday). Deputies were called to the 1800 block of Snipes Pump Road at 1:31 p.m. for what the reporting party said were four to five shots fired. The witness couldn't tell deputies which directions the shots came from.
In other Lower Valley news, deputies since yesterday have dealt with two animal complaints, two suspicious people or situations, one threat and two traffic accidents.
