No thefts in S'side yesterday

Yesterday was a red letter day for Sunnyside police officers. There were no reports of thefts, burglaries or shots fired.
However, three women reported they had been sexually abused by the same man, and two teenage girls decided to lie in the street at South Fifth Street and Grant Avenue at 8:20 p.m. yesterday.
Officer Guillen advised the girls what they considered humorous could be dangerous and told them to go home.
From 8:16 a.m. yesterday to 4:03 a.m. today (Wednesday), officers also investigated two traffic problems, five suspicious people, two 911 hang-up calls, one report of loud music, one report of harassment, two fights, one disorderly conduct, one citizen dispute, one assault, five animal problems and five alarms, all of which proved to be either malfunctions or accidentally activated.
They also served three arrest warrants, gave an assist to an agency and a citizen and responded to eight informational calls.
