S'side annexations leads to voting precinct changes

Yakima County commissioners last week approved changes to voting precinct boundaries.

The three precinct changes in the Lower Valley are all related to recent annexations by the city of Sunnyside.

No voters will be impacted in two of the changes—in response to Sunnyside's Padelford and Bonny annexations.

The third precinct boundary change from county to a city precinct involves Sunnyside's 119-acre Saul Road-South Hill annexation, which will impact 34 voters.
