Yesterday (Tuesday) the remaining members of the original 52 students in the Grandview High School class of 1943 gathered at the home of alum Vernon Erickson of Grandview to relive old times and to enjoy a potluck luncheon. Erickson said the class met in the middle of the week because it fit into everyone’s busy doctor appointment schedules. Present for the occasion were (seated L-R) Mary Powell of Yakima, Erickson, Valma De Vall of Kennewick, Gordon “Doc” Cresci of Walla Walla, (back row L-R) Bob Powell of Yakima, Phil Sinfield of Wishram and Fred Thompson of Renton.
