As a class we wanted to create a pictorial portrait of our beautiful state of Washington, so we asked your readers to send us postcards illustrating key features and points of interest in your city.
Our social studies project was a huge success! We received a total of 1,024 postcards. Many students also received photos and letters. We learned many thigs (SIC) about our state.
Thank you for printing my earlier letter in your newspaper-the Daily Sun News. We would also like to thank your readers for helping us to create a "postcard profile" of our beautiful state of Washington.
