The 2010 Grandview Fair and Rodeo Parade is now just a memory. The parade committee would like to extend a huge thank you to the following people/groups whose assistance made the parade's success a reality...the Grandview police and fire departments, the Grandview Public Works staff, Chamber of Commerce President Brad Smith, Grandview School District staff, Anderson Motors, Desert Valley Powersports, The Lockshop, Gloria Mendoza and the Vineyard restaurant staff, the anonymous donor for the volunteers' lunch, parade judges Miranda Stokes, Lynn Barley, Joan Sowers, Alex Contreras, Lou Garcia, Debbie Alderman and Dottie Cervantes, Dale Bergeson, Mary Barrett, Tolan Barrett, emcees Norm Childress and Jan McDonald, Antonio and Grace Sanchez and their daughters, Madeline and Rochelle, Aimee Souders, Gordon Franks, Daniel Valle, Michael Coronado, NNick Werrion, along with donations/contributions for trophies, plaques and rosettes from the Grandview Safeway store, Grandview Market, Lower Valley Credit Union, Renton REA, Grandview Pizza Hut, Mid Valley Dodge, Sheffield Mantor and two Grandview City Council members.
Without the time, energy and donations of these people and groups, the parade would not have happened.
We truly appreciate the patience and understanding of the parade participants as we worked through some "staging" issues.
