In the Daily Sun News story yesterday, Wednesday, about the state test scores released the day before, it should have been noted that Sunnyside eighth graders made progress in two of the three areas tested.
There were 53.7 percent who passed the reading portion of the state-mandated test administered this past spring and 36.6 percent who passed the math portion.
The only decline was in science, where 20.2 percent passed that portion of the exam.
