Tasty hors d’oeuvres greeted those attending the sixth annual Grape to Glass Gala held last Saturday night on the Grandview campus of Yakima Valley Community College. The snacks were complemented by wines created by Yakima Valley Community College-Yakima Valley Vintners. Pouring samples were students (above) Maria Rangel and Jeff Fortner. Here, student vintners serve a glass of Tre Rojas de Mesa to Ann Manning of Grandview (L). The evening included a silent auction, music and a gourmet dinner, which was prepared by the YV-Tech culinary students, all to benefit the Vineyard and Winery Technology student scholarship fund.
