Hospital to host 14th annual Foundation Golf Tournament

Sunnyside Community Hospital will host the 14th annual Foundation Golf Tournament at Sunnyside's Black Rock Creek Golf Course Saturday, Aug. 26. Play of the day is a four-person scramble, with an 8 a.m. shotgun start planned.
Space is limited so participants are encouraged to reserve their place by Aug. 22 with entry form and payment to secure entry.
Cost per player will be $50 for members of Black Rock Creek and $60 for non-members. Carts will be required for the tournament and must be ordered in advance. Cart rental is $26. Entry forms can be picked up at Black Rock Creek Golf Course or by calling Carole Allen at 837-1627. Entry forms and payment should be turned in to the Sunnyside Community Hospital Foundation.
The tournament will feature teams of four so singles and pairs will be placed on teams.
Sponsor levels for the tournament will be platinum for $5,000, gold for $2,000, major business for $1,000, business for $500, beverage cart for $250 and hole sponsors for $150.
The money raised from entry fees and sponsorships will be used to serve health care needs of the valley.
After the golf tournament the second annual "Evening in the Park" will be held at Country Park and Fairgrounds in Grandview. Hospitality starts at 6 p.m. with dinner, an auction and dancing to follow. Music will be provided by Bobby Medina and the Red Hot Band.
Dinner tickets are $250 a couple and all proceeds will benefit the emergency department remodeling and urgent care center at Sunnyside Community Hospital.
Tickets for the "Evening in the Park" will be available from the Sunnyside Community Hospital Foundation after the Fourth of the July.
