Melvin Henry Curtis Jr., 61, of Klickitat and a former Sunnyside resident died on Friday, Jan. 22, 2010, at his home.
He was born July 2, 1948 in Sunnyside to Melvin Henry Sr. and Florence Lydia (Meads) Curtis.
He graduated from Sunnyside High School with the class of 1966.
He is survived by his wife, Lynde (Fink) Curtis; two daughters, Brenda Clack and Dana Geary; one son, Melvin L. Curtis; eight grandchildren; one great-grandson; his sister, Mary Ann (Curtis) Wright; brother-in-law, Ross (Judy) Fink; sister-in-law, Judy (Milton) Lamping; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews; aunts, uncles, cousins; and many friends.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010, at 11 a.m., at Baptist Church in Klickitat.
Gardner Funeral Home in White Salmon is in charge of arrangements.
