Trunk-or-Treat supporters appreciated

The Sunnyside Police Department and the Sunnyside Chamber of Commerce would like to thank all of the "Trunk" participants and those of you who donated to the third annual Trunk or Treat, held this past Sunday at Central Park.

Thanks go out to Timmermans Real Estate, Sunnyside Community Hospital, Llesenia Ramos, Anthony Salcedo, Audrey Brandsma-Scentsy, Sunnyside Professional Firefighters, Candigurlz, View Point Dairy, the Miss Sunnyside Court, Sunnyside's Promise, Conquistador, H&R Elite Trucking, Sunnyside Physical Therapy, Sunnyside Lions Club, Queen's for a Cure, Canam Steel Corporation, Sunnyside Ace Hardware, The Funny Farm, South Hill Apartments and the Sunnyside School District principals.

We estimate 2,000 ghouls and goblins came to Trunk or Treat this year, despite the rain.

Thank you to all who helped us make this a successful event for Sunnyside!
