Weather forecasters predict no surprises this month in Sunnyside

Precipitations and temperatures should be pretty much normal for the Sunnyside area during the month of November.
That's according to the National Weather Service, which notes the normal day-time high temperatures for Sunnyside fall from 59 degrees at the start of November to 44 degrees at the end of the month.
Normal night-time low temperatures fall from 34 degrees to 27 degrees. The 30-year normal precipitation is 0.91 inches.
A return to normal would be a break in the weather for Sunnyside, as according to the National Weather Service last month was the fourth wettest October on record for Sunnyside.
Precipitation last month totalled 1.8 inches, 1.17 inches above normal. The wettest October on record for this area was in 1950, when 2.59 inches fell.
October 2012 was not only wetter than normal, it was colder, too, as National Weather Service officials note the average temperature last month was 49.5 degrees, 3.1 degrees below normal.
High day time temperatures averaged 63 degrees last month, which was 4.5 degrees below normal. The highest was 80 degrees on Oct. 2. Low night time temperatures averaged 36.1 degrees, which was 1.6 degrees below normal. The lowest was 27 degrees, on the Oct. 23.
The National Weather Service notes there were seven days last month with the low temperature below 32 degrees, the freezing level.
