Fair/rodeo fundraiser success due to spirit of community

The Foundation for the Yakima Valley Fair and Rodeo would like to thank all our donors for the auction items, the community members that came to support the fifth annual dinner and auction and the businesses that purchased tables.

We would also like to thank the 4-H and FFA members from the valley that helped during the evening; to reporters Richard Berger from the Grandview Herald and Jennie McGhan from the Sunnyside Daily News for their help in publicizing the event, and for the great stories about the Gordon Jones Family, winner of the Family of the Year Award.

With the success of our dinner and auction we can continue working on improvements at the fairgrounds, which will make sure the fair is one of the nicest in Central Washington.

Everyone is to be commended for their wonderful community spirit that is unselfishly displayed year around..

We thank you most sincerely.
