OBITUARYHECTOR GUERREROJanuary 25, 2013 Hector Guerrero, 54, went to be with his havenly Father on Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, in Norwalk, Conn. Hector was born March 27, 1958 in Sunnyside to Antonio and Adelina Guerrero, where he was raised and attended Sunnyside High School. He also received his apprenticeship in pipefitting with Local #598. Hector had a deep love for family. He took pride in his children's accomplishments and their desire to keep family first in their lives. He also had a love for family BBQ's, dancing and sports. He is survived by his five children, Melissa Guerrero-Fernandez, Kristina Guerrero Cevallos, Roberto Guerrero, Amanda Guerrero and Marcus Guerrero; his grandchildren, Julien Guerrero, Emeri Fernandez, Maliah Fernandez and Baby Cevallos; his siblings, San Juanita Guerrero Nelson, Norma Guerrero Acosta, Gilbert Guerrero, Nina Guerrero Visconti, Anthony Guerrero, Sylvia Guerrero Campos; and many other loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Antonio Guerrero and Adelina Guerrero, who we know welcomed him to heaven with their love and open arms. We, his children, take comfort in knowing that our dad is with the Lord and that his soul has found peace. Memorial services are planned for a later date.
PAID OBITUARY W/PHOTO CAROL JEAN HYDE Carol Jean Hyde, 66, of Sunnyside entered into rest on Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013, at her home in Sunnyside. She was born Oct. 26, 1946 in Sunnyside to Clifford Louis and Eleanora Maxine (Powell) Mount. She was raised, educated and graduated from Prosser High School in 1965. In 1980 Carol and Thomas Hyde were married. They made their home in Sunnyside. Carol enjoyed traveling, volunteering at the Eagles and was an avid stamper. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family. She was a member of the Sunnyside Eagles, where she was past madam president and kitchen chairman. Along with other occupations, Carol worked in food processing at Twin City Foods in Prosser, from 1967 through 1970, and at Sun Ridge Foods in Sunnyside, from 1987 to 1996. Carol is survived by her children, Cathy Wood, Fred Radach Jr. and Candi (Radach) Schulte; her son-in-law, Michael Schulte; her brothers, Bud Mount, Morris Mount, Mike Mount and Tony Mount; her sisters, Shirley Irby, JoAnn Schneider and Linda Griffin; her aunt, Wanda Madson; her grandchildren, Jennifer Orr, Michael Orr, Brendon Wood, Anthony Wood, Nicole Harris, Richard Schulte and Rachel Schulte; five great-grandkids; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas R. Hyde in 1995; her parents, Clifford and Eleanora Mount; her nephew, Davey Mount; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be held Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, from 3 to 6 p.m. at Prosser Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Monday, Jan. 28, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Prosser Funeral Home, with concluding services and burial to follow at Prosser Cemetery, and a luncheon to follow at Sunnyside Eagles.
