DEATH NOTICE

MACARIO RIVERA

Macario Rivera, 98, of Grandview died on Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, in Hermiston, Ore.

He is survived by three sons, Jose Rivera and Ricardo Rivera, both of Seattle and Francisco Rivera of Plano, Texas; five daughters, Consuelo Garcia of Grandview, Maria Elena Veliz, Christina Garcia, Raquel Herrera and Rosa Maria, all of Hermiston; 35 grandchildren; 72 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

Viewing and visitation will be held today, Feb. 13, 2013, from noon to 8 p.m., with recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6 p.m. at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Sunnyside. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013, at 10 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Grandview, with burial to follow at Grandview Cemetery.

Valley Hills Funeral Home in Sunnyside is in charge of all arrangements.
