New property for Mabton?

MABTON - The church building near Fezele Park property in Mabton has left many wondering what's to come of the building.

The church members had previously discussed plans to donate the building and property to the city.

Since then, the church has received numerous offers to buy the building. Mabton Mayor Angel Reyna says church officials have still offered to give the building to the city, free of charge.

Plans to acquire the property are progressing.
