GRANDVIEW — Tiffani Nicole Armstrong will marry Spencer William Johnson of Medford, Ore. July 17 in a backyard ceremony at her parents’ Grandview home. She is the daughter of Eric and Brenda Armstrong. He is the son of Brent and Jeana Johnson. The couple’s wedding party will include bridesmaids Kayley Risenhoover, Crystal Sample, Hannah Armstrong, Andrea Donaldson, Laura Johnson and Sierra Reiboldt. Groomsmen will be Nathan Johnson, Andy Sticka, Johnathon Prichard, Hudson Prichard, Jordan Armstrong and Ryan Armstrong. Flower girls will be Erica Armstrong, Adelynne Reiboldt and Kaydence Reiboldt. Eric Sticka will be the Bible boy. Armstrong is a piano teacher and a representative for exchange students. Martin is a Portland Community College graduate and an airplane mechanic in Medford. The couple will made their home in Medford.
Dianna Mendoza and Robby Plasencia of Battleground, were married in the Charter Oaks Community Church June 25. A blessing of the marriage and a reception will be at noon Aug. 6 at Our Saviour’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1106 Taylor St. in Sunnyside. The bride is the daughter of Debbie Mendoza of Sunnyside and Jesus Mendoza of Kennewick. The groom is the son of Rick and Susie Plasencia of Puyallup. Members of the wedding party included matron of honor Hannah Comerford, and maid of honor Leah Barkell. Bridesmaids were Kirsten McDaniel, Stephani Young, Christina Mooney and Allie Criswell. Alena Wolbert of the Netherlands was honorary bridesmaid and Ava Mendoza was flower girl. Rick Plasencia was best man and groomsmen were Brendan Steiger, Trevor Jastad, J.D. Wheeler, Andrew Accornero and Danny Mendoza. The bride is a 2007 Sunnyside High School graduate and a 2011 Pacific Lutheran University graduate. She is currently employed as a case manager for international foster care with the Catholic Community Services of Western Washington. Plasencia is a youth minister at Charter Oaks Community College in Battleground. He is a 2009 graduate of Gov. John Rogers High School in Puyallup and a 2015 Western Washington University graduate of Bellingham. The couple are at home in Battleground.
SUNNYSIDE — Amber Renee Coder of West Richland and Jordan Trey Warner of Sunnyside will be married at 3 p.m. Sept. 25 in the Sandberg Event Center in West Richland. She is the daughter of Ronda Hoptowit of West Richland and he is the son of Betty Woods of Sunnyside. The bride-to-be is a graduate of Washington State University with degrees in business management, interior decorating and hospitality. She is employed at Red Lion Inn in Pasco. Warner is a graduate of Columbia Basin College with a degree in welding. He is currently employed by Columbia Energy of Richland.
