Two arraigned on drug charges

Phillip Greenhalgh, 59, and Holly Soria, 38, both of Grandview, were arraigned late last week on drug charges in Yakima County Superior Court.

Greenhalgh and Soria were arrested Friday, Dec. 19, after the Grandview Police Department and Law Enforcement Against Drugs (LEAD) task force busted a methamphetamine operation at 217 Velma Street, near three Grandview schools.

A meth lab was found in the garage of the home and trace amounts of drugs were found in the house, according to Grandview Police Chief Dave Charvet.

Greenhalgh was officially charged with delivery of methamphetamine, maintaining a drug house and conspiracy to deliver methamphetamine.

Soria was charged with delivering methamphetamine.

Two other suspects were also arrested at the time of the raid, but charges for those two have not been filed at this time.
