Aucencia Morales, 61, of Granger passed away April 13, 2004, at Toppenish Community Hospital.

Aucencia was born Dec. 18, 1942 in Mexico to Demmetro Castillo and Salustia Figuera. She lived in Granger for the past 12 years.

She enjoyed sewing and working in the garden with her flowers. She loved to go to church with her family. She enjoyed Bible stories and loved to sing church songs with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Alvino Morales of Granger; six sons, Baltazar Castrejon of Everett, Jesus Morales of Granger, and Martin Morales, Juan Morales, Modesto Morales and Felipe Morales, all of Bellingham; two daughters, Leova Morales of Granger and Annallely Morales of Bellingham; four brothers, Bartola Montes of Crewport, Guadelupe Castillo of Texas, Pedro Montes of Chicago and Brigido Castillo of Mexico; three sisters, Victoria Castillo of Mexico, Tomaza Montez of Mexico and Ricarda Montez of Mexico; and 11 grandcildren.

Viewing will be held Friday, April 16, 2004, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. with a vigil service at 7 p.m. at Valley Hills Funeral Home Chapel, Zillah. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 17, 2004, at 10 a.m. at Church of the Living God in Granger with burial to follow at Zillah Cemetery. Valley Hills Funeral Home, Zillah, is in charge of arrangements.
