Lily M. Lutjemeier, 81, of Yakima passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2004, at Heritage Grove Nursing Home in Yakima.

Lily was born April 21, 1923 in Larned, Kan., to Arthur and Lillie (Kitterman) Stembridge. She was a homemaker. She had lived in the Sunnyside area for many years. She had resided at Heritage Grove Nursing Home in Yakima for the past 15 years.

Lily enjoyed playing Bridge, dancing and socializing with her friends.

She was a past president of the Emblem Club of Sunnyside.

She is survived by two daughters, Sandra Gillihan and husband, Mike, of Outlook and Debra Ellis and husband, Jerry, of Yakima; one son, Dan Lutjemeier of Curlew. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Bethany Gillihan, Jason and Willy Lutjemeier and Craig Guider III; and two great-grandchildren, Seth and Raylyn Guider.

She was cremated. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Valley Hills Funeral Home, Sunnyside, in entrusted with arrangements.
