Lower Valley Hospice a blessing

What a blessing the Hospice organization is to the community of Sunnyside. Hospice is the best organization to come along in these times, and we cannot help but think Sunnyside got the best of the best!

Hospice took care of and helped us out with our grandfather, Harry Purdy, when he passed in 2002, and we are all aware of Gramp's cantankerous side, but Hospice still persevered with complete patience and calm. And last year Hospice helped us also get through our dear, sweet mother's passing (Mary Louise Mathias). Mom wanted to be in her own home and in her own bed, and Hospice made her last wish possible. She died with grace, style and dignity with Hospice's expertise, kindness and warmth.

There are barely words written to express our thanks and gratitude for all of Hospice's caring.

We especially want to thank Sarah Partch and Sabrina Jackson for all they have done for our family-we truly think of them as friends. They were certainly on Mom's list as friends. She absolutely adored them.

It was a long, arduous on-and-off process with Mom the 10 years she had cancer, and no one could have treated her with more kindness, gentle guidance and true affection than Hospice. One just couldn't even dream such an incredible organization exists in our culture today, but we are so very glad you do.

The people at Hospice deserve medals, many kudos and surely a place in heaven for all your great works.

We love you all.
