Regarding your article entitled "Governor's race up in the air" in Monday's Daily Sun News: it would better have fit on the opinion page, not the front page. The entire article read like a press release from Dino Rossi's office. Nary a word from a single Democrat, let alone Chris Gregoire's office. I wonder if anyone from your newspaper even attempted to contact Gregoire's office for comment.
Articles like Monday's are not news reporting, they are partisan political speech and should be treated as such. I await an article in the Daily Sun that accurately reflects the views of both political parties engaged in this contentious election.

(Editor's note: An updated article on the governor's race was published in the Thursday, Dec. 30, edition. Christine Gregoire's election campaign camp was contacted, but again chose not to respond to an inquiry from the Daily Sun News.)
