Sunnyside Public Works Superintendent Ken Ott wants to forewarn citizens there is the possibility of some temporary water service disruptions later this week.
Ott also said there is the slight possibility that the water might turn another color with the tests the city will be conducting on its fire hydrants.
Throughout the work day, Sunnyside Public Works employees will be performing flow tests on 20 fire hydrants throughout the city. The tests are being done as part of the water comprehensive plan the city is implementing.
While the possibility is slim of any water discoloration or disruptions in flow, Ott wanted citizens to know there might be the chance and not to worry as interruptions will only be temporary.
