BICKLETON - The Bickleton High School girls basketball team finished regular season play at home last night with a victory over Glenwood, 33-10.
Senior Erica Jensen closed out the regular season by scoring 14 points for the Lady Pirates. She also grabbed seven steals and pulled down six rebounds in the game, which saw the Bickleton girls leading all four quarters.
Glenwood was held to scoring no more than five points in any one quarter. The Bickleton girls held Glenwood to just one in the first quarter and to just two points in the second and four quarters.
Bickleton's Annie Hess added 10 points, brought down five rebounds and three steals during the game, which proved to be an easy victory for the Lady Pirates.
Eighth grader Ilsa Chapple pulled down five rebounds and picked up a steal for the Lady Pirates early in the game giving the team a boost going into the second half, said Bickleton Coach Tom Whitmore.
The Lady Pirates (5-8, 11-8) now move into District play next Tuesday night at Goldendale.
