ALFREDO BELTRAN TORRECILLAS

Alfredo Beltran Torrecillas, 37, of Mabton died Thursday, Feb. 5, 2004, due to an automobile accident near Mattawa.

Funeral services which were scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2004 have been postponed until further notice. Valley Hills Funeral Home, Sunnyside, is in charge of arrangements.

SUSAN GAYLE RENSCH

Susan Gayle Rensch, 58, of Mount Pleasant, S. C. passed away Thursday, Feb. 12, 2004, in Seattle.

She was born May 2, 1945 in Yakima to Gerrit and Pat Schilperoort. Susan received her early education in Granger. On Aug. 6, 1983 she married Gene Rensch in Sunnyside. Gene and Susan (known as Susie) lived in the Sunnyside area for seven years until moving to Michigan, then Mississippi and finally to South Carolina in 1998. Susan was an Avon representative for many years.

Susan enjoyed gardening, sailing and shopping for antiques.

She was also a member and very active in the Seacoast Church in Mount Pleasant.

Susan is survived by her daughter, Ronda Ridley and husband, Don, of Snohomish; two sons, Christopher Rensch and wife, Pam, of Snohomish and Benjamin Rensch of Lebanon, Pa.; and four grandchildren, Jazmin, Camron, Ariel and Jonah. She is also survived by her mother, Pat Schilperoort of Outlook; one sister, Anmarree McDaniel of Outlook; two brothers, Mark Schilperoort and wife, Janet, of Sunnyside and Larry Northwind and wife, Donna, of East Wenatchee; and two half brothers, Gerrit Schilperoort and Gene Schilperoort, both of Grandview.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Rensch, who passed away Dec. 1, 2003; her father, Gerrit Schilperoort; and two brothers, Gerry Schilperoort and T.J. Schilperoort.

Viewing and visitation will be held Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2004, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2004, at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church, Sunnyside, with burial to follow at Lower Valley Memorial Gardens, Sunnyside, under the direction of Smith Funeral Home. Those wishing to honor her memory may contribute to the National Kidney Foundation.
