Men, dancers needed for 'Guys and Dolls' production

Valley Theater Company is looking for men who sing in a church choir, in the shower or in the car to be a part of its spring musical Guys and Dolls.

The company held its first night of auditions Monday night, but is in need of more men to handle the "guys" roles in the musical comedy story about gangsters, evangelists and the trials of love, according to Candace Andrews, show producer.

The second night of auditions will be held tonight (Wednesday) beginning at 7 p.m. at the Sunnyside High School auditorium, 16th Street and Edison Avenue.

Andrews said the company also encourages women with dancing experience to audition.

In case of hazardous driving conditions, auditions will be rescheduled to Sunday, Jan. 11, at 1 p.m. at the Prosser United Methodist Church, Andrews said.

She asks that would-be actors call her at 786-2003, or Kim Mears, 786-2084, after 4 p.m. on Wednesday to confirm audition date and location.
