Bank robber not yet ID'd

The Sunnyside Police Department is still no closer to solving the case of who the person was who held up the Sunnyside branch of the Bank of America Monday afternoon.

The suspect entered the bank and walked up to a teller demanding she give him all of her cash, just after 2 p.m. Monday afternoon. The person, who was wearing a stocking cap and bandanna, got away with an undisclosed amount of cash. No weapons were displayed in the incident and no one was injured.

According to Sgt. Joe Guillen, detective for the Sunnyside Police Department, the department has been following up on leads, but hasn't gotten any closer to finding out who was behind the heist.

"We've been getting a lot of calls from people with information on the case," said Guillen.

He said from the photograph from the bank's video surveillance system, the suspect could be a lot of people.
