Veterans offered help with filing forms for benefits
Veterans in need of information about benefits and services
can get help from the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Mobile Service Office,
which will be in the area next week.
The DAV Mobile Service Office will be on site at the DAV
Chapter 8 Hall, 911 N. 15th Ave., Yakima Friday, July 23. Counselors will be on
hand to help with filing claims

The mobile clinic will be in the Safeway parking lot in
Richland on George Washington Way Thursday, July 22, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

SPOKANE - Area professional forklift operators are
challenged to demonstrate their
skills at a forklift rodeo to be held in Spokane Saturday, July 24. The contest
will be held at the Spokane Teamster Building, 1912 N. Division. Registration
begins at 9 .m. for the state Department of Labor and Industries-sponsored

exam, forklift safety inspection and an obstacle course.
