Trinidad Salinas Sr., 82, of Granger died Wednesday, June 2, 2004, at Hillcrest Manor in Sunnyside.

He was born June 12, 1921 in Texas, to Carlota Vasquez.

He is survived by eight children, Frank and wife, Lupe, of Sunnyside, Silvester and wife, Isabel, of Idaho, Lupe of Missouri, Trinidad Jr. of Granger and Santiago and wife, Sylvia, of Sunnyside; San Juana of Arizona, Mary Saenz and husband, Mario, of Grandview, Christina Estrada of Seattle and Dolores Garza of Toppenish; 27 grandchildren; and 47 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Manuela; two sons, Carlos and Ricky; his mother; and one brother.

Funeral services are pending under the direction of Colonial Funeral Home, Toppenish.
