Grandview chamber to hold meeting

GRANDVIEW - Have ideas on how to revitalize Grandview's downtown core?

The Grandview Chamber of Commerce and the City of Grandview are joining together to begin strategizing the community's downtown revitalization.

The city of Grandview will be sponsoring a two-day workshop to begin the process of identifying ways to support local business, attract new business and investment and improve the appearance, according to Anita Palacios, one of the members of the committee looking at downtown revitalization.

June 30 and July 1, consultants from Jones & Stokes will be taking pictures of the downtown and interviewing key business and property owners.

They will present their findings at a community meeting July 1, at 6 p.m. at the Grandview Senior Center.

Anyone with questions can call the Grandview Chamber of Commerce, 882-2100.
