Charles (Chuck) Gorham, 77, of Grandview passed away
Sunday, March 14, 2004, at his home.
Chuck was born June 6, 1926 in Toppenish to Frank and
Elizabeth Gorham. He was raised and educated in Mabton, Toppenish and Wapato
and had lived in the Valley his entire life. He served with the U.S. Army
during World War II.
He was a past Cub Scout Master, past president of the
Grandview Lions Club and a charter and life member of Elks Lodge 2112. Churck
was employed by Teamsters Local 760, as a business representative from 1951
until his retirement in 1985.
He loved hunting, fishing, gardening and golf in his
He is survived by his loving wife of more than 50 years,
Nancy Gorham; one son, Greg Gorham; one daughter, Cathy Young; five grandsons;
five great-granddaughters; and one sister, Monya Collins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers,
Bert, Bob and Howard Gorham; and one sister, Ruby Hathaway.
Memorial services will be held Friday, March 19, 2004, at
1:30 p.m. at Valley Hills Funeral Home, Sunnyside. In lieu of flowers memorials
may be made to the American Lung Association.

Dad passed away Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2004, at the age of 87
in Yuma, Ariz., where he had been living since retiring from many years working
for Yakima Golding Farms in Sunnyside.
Dad was a wonderful man and everyone who knew him knows he
had a long and happy life.
We were sad to see him go, but now he is at peace with our
mother. Together, they had three daughters, Ardys, Lavonne and Kathy, and one
Dad is survived by his wife, Billye of Yuma; 13
grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
We will truly miss you Dad, granddad and grandpa. We all
love you and forever in our hearts you will always be.
