Bilingual mass

at St. Joseph’s, reception on tap for this Friday

Sunnyside's St. Joseph's Catholic Church will celebrate a Solemity of St. Joseph bilingual mass this Friday, March 19, at 6 p.m. A reception will follow in the Father Stecher Activity Center.

During the reception, church members will kick off their annual Mayfest raffle ticket sales, priced at $1 apiece. Top prizes include $1,000 in cash and a side of beef.

Migrant Council ‘Eggstravaganza’ set for April 3

Children with disabilities and their families are invited to the Washington State Migrant Council "Eggstravaganza," scheduled for Saturday, April 3.

Games, activities, refreshments and an Easter egg hunt will be offered at the 1 to 3 p.m. event, to be staged at the Sunnyside Community Development Center, 1751 Washington Court.

Migrant Council officials say at least one child in the family must have a disability in order to participate in the fun day. Space is limited to the first 80 children who pre-register by calling 837-6015.
