Kilian a model for entire community
As I was baking for our Thanksgiving meal this past
Wednesday, I thought of the preparations the Kilian family is making. I want
them to know that among all our blessings, we count Fred's life as one of them.
We have known Fred since high school. We held him in high
regard then, and our respect for Fred has steadily increased through the years.
Our paths have crossed many times in various capacities. We have enjoyed that
crossing and will miss it.
Fred has been a model for his family and community to
emulate. He served where needed with courage, determination and common sense.
His faith was alive. He loved his family. He wanted to help improve the land
and our community. Education was important to him, as was honesty and lack of
pretense. He was a solid citizen.
My husband Jim and I regret his leaving us and extend our
prayers for his family. But we are thankful to have seen the impact of his life
all around our Valley.
