Pull the plug, but don’t ban artists
I am writing in response to the article in the Sept. 8
issue, entitled "Tejano music promoters apologize to Grandview
The artists were warned that cursing would not be allowed. I
do agree that a few of the acts did get out of hand, but there were some

to your town
The citizens of Sunnyside again have the opportunity to add
color to their town.
We are having a fall planting at the Fifth Street guardrail
behind Safeway. We want to invite the citizens to bring a perennial that will
add summer or late fall color to the area, plants such as lilies, lavender,
black eyed Susan's, etc. Join us at 10 a.m. this Saturday, Oct. 16.
Also as something to think about during the winter months
ahead, next spring why not share a geranium, salvia or petunia to put some
bright colored annuals at that site if you are unable to plant with us this
We can make this area even brighter with your help!
