County prepares to surplus myriad of items

YAKIMA - Saturday, Sept. 25, people from throughout the area will have a chance to bid on items being surplused by Yakima County.

The list of items to be surplused includes bits and pieces from a variety of county departments, from the Yakima County Assessor's Office to the county's food service department.

Among the items set to be surplused are computers, printers, filing cabinets, calculators, office chairs, cameras, desks, typewriters, phones, paper shredders, a Dukane microfilm reader and printer, a 3M microfiche reader and printer, cellular telephones, laser printers, a Honda lawnmower, lockers, a bread rack, metal bookcases, laptop computers, an RCA VCR, a cash register, an 18 cubic foot Roper refrigerator, computer monitors, several file servers, a Gateway 12-slot Hot Swap disk drawer, ethernet equipment, photo copiers and a Sony remote dictation system.

Items set to be surplused will be sold Saturday, Sept. 25, at 9 a.m. at Heaverlo's Auction, 1212 Keys Rd. in Yakima.
