Two Lower Yakima Valley men face drive-by shooting charges

Two men were arrested in Sunnyside Saturday night after they allegedly fired shots from their vehicle in the 700 block of South Seventh Street. The shots were fired Saturday night at about 11:45 p.m.

The men, Juan J. Hernandez, 20, of Granger and Moeses Magana, 18, of Toppenish, were located in the vehicle that was described by witnesses to the shooting, in a parking lot at the intersection of South First Street and South Hill Road.

Hernandez and Magana were taken into custody. Police found a semi-automatic pistol in the suspects' vehicle. Bullet casings were also recovered from the 700 block of South Seventh Street.

According to police, the case is still under investigation.
