Jennie A. Boulware, 88, of Granger, died Thursday, Sept. 16, 2004.

She was born April 10, 1916 in Montana to Richard and Nellie (Bordon) Webb. In 1928 she moved to Red Bluff, Calif. On Dec. 26, 1930 she married Orlin C. Boulware in Medford, Ore. They together moved to Grandview in 1944. For the first few years they farmed and made their home on Wasson Road later moving into town. She worked for more than 20 years at Smith and Judd Hardware, upon retirement they moved to Granger. In 1975 her husband passed away and she continued to make her home in Granger.

She is survived by her daughter, Carol Omta of Granger; her grandchildren, Rodney Omta of Tok, Alaska, Kevin Omta of Grandview, Kimberly Arriaga of Granger, Tracy Omta of Toppenish and Travis Omta of Oklahoma; and three step-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Orlin; three brothers; and 2 sisters.

At her request there will be no formal services. Smith Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.


Aidan Mathew Kantman, infant son of Michael and Wendy Kantman of Sunnyside, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2004, at Sunnyside Community Hospital.

He is survived by his parents; two brothers, Tyler and Ethan Kantman, both of Sunnyside; one uncle, Jamie Bailey of Missoula, Mont.; grandparents, Emma Kantman of Wapato, Rusty Bailey of Sunnyside and Pam Bailey of Sunnyside; and great-grandfathers, Ernest Coder of Yakima and Woody Bailey of Butte, Mont.

Graveside funeral services will be held Monday, Sept. 20, 2004, at 1 p.m. at Lower Valley Memorial Gardens, Sunnyside. Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside, is in charge of arrangements.


Clara Trevino, 83, of Pasco, passed away Sept. 15, 2004, at Kennewick General Hospital.

She was born March 15, 1921 in La Palmita, Mexico to Romanita and Maxmino Salinas.

Clara moved to Edinburgh, Texas with her parents in 1923.

She met Trinidad Trevino and they were married on April 13, 1940.

They moved to the Yakima Valley area in 1949.

Clara was a loving mother and homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Arthur Trevino and wife, Sandy, of Kennewick; three daughters, Mary Garcia and husband, Lupe, of Auburn, Dora Plata of Pasco, and Janey Acevedo and husband, Benjamin, of Kennewick; two brothers, Lorenzo Salinas and wife, Patricia, and John Salinas and wife, Julia, all of Edinburgh, Texas; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Friday, Sept. 17, 2004, from 3 to 8 p.m. at Mueller’s Chapel of the Falls. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held Friday, Sept. 17, 2004, at 6 p.m. at Mueller’s Chapel of the Falls, 314 W. 1


Ave, Kennewick. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, Sept. 18, 2004, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Sunnyside.
