Three S'side vehicles vandalized

Three vehicles were the targets of vandalism Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning.

According to Sunnyside police, two vehicles on Rouse Road had windows broken out.

One of the vehicles was parked in the 500 block of Rouse Road and the other was in the 400 block. Nothing was stolen from either vehicle.

Vandalism to a third car was reported early this morning. The car was parked in the 1500 block of East Edison Avenue, according to police. One of the windows was broken out, but again, nothing was stolen.

Sunnyside police are also investigating the report of a break-in at a storage unit in the 1200 block of South 11th Street.

So far, only one storage unit renter has reported a theft.

Items taken include bicycles, display cases and other items. The theft was reported Tuesday morning.

Also being investigated is a vehicle prowl in the 700 block of South Ninth Street. The victim reported that her car had been broken into and CDs and pictures of her children were stolen.
