Seven earn 4.00 GPA's at Mabton Jr./Sr. High

MABTON - Seven Mabton Jr./Sr. High School students, four of them seventh graders, earned perfect 4.00 grade point averages for the third quarter of the 2004-05 school year.

The straight-A students include seventh graders Carmen Lepe, Hernan Guevara, Ramon Gutierrez and Samuel Flores, as well as eighth grader Patricia Williams and sophomores Rubicelia Perez and Shari Williams.

Numerous other students were named to the regular honor roll, for maintaining at least a 3.00 GPA for third quarter studies. Those students include:

seniors Belen Gomez, Diana Lopez, Marco Zepeda, Michelle Tellez, Nellie Uribe, Nickalas Campbell, Patricia Mendoza, Rafaela Quintero, Ryan Harris and Victoria Tellez;

juniors Adriana Cardenas, Alida Mendoza, Cassandra Partida, Elva Moreno, Erica Sanchez, Gracie Delgado, Guadalupe Gomez, Jesica Orozco, Jonathan Melendez, Katie Beeman, Mayra Gutierrez, Monica Vijil and Yesenia Gonzalez;

sophomores Daniela Aguilar, Aurora Nunez, Darwin Reyna, Diana Nunez, Diana Valle, Jesus Rojas, Josie Chase, Luis Quintero, Moises Gutierrez, Nathan Smith, Robert Marquez, Sara Sosa, Talisa Sotelo and Vicente Tovar;

freshmen Victor Diaz, Angelina Sustaita, Debbie Enriquez, Jose Mendoza, Maria Virrueta, Cecelia Sanchez, Jose Alcantar, Vanessa Gonzalez, Belica Gutierrez, Brandy Hamilton, Juanita Martinez, Jerry Perez and Olegario Sanchez;

eighth graders Andrea Sagrero, Heidi Nunez, Javier Valle, Jenna Hall, Charles Smith and Yesenia Garcia;
