Grandview man arraigned on child rape charges

GRANDVIEW - A 22-year-old Grandview man, Juan A. Saucedo-Sanchez, was arraigned Wednesday on charges ranging from first degree rape of a child to first degree child molestation.

Sanchez was arrested following a report that he had allegedly molested four children. According to the Grandview Police Department, two of the victims were interviewed about the reported molestation, and the interviews led to Sanchez's arrest.

According to the Yakima County Prosecutors Office, Sanchez is facing one count of first degree rape of a child and one count of first degree child molestation. His omnibus hearing is scheduled to take place Sept. 15, with a pending trial date of Sept. 26.
