Grandview police log busy weekend

GRANDVIEW - Several burglaries, a theft, and even a fire had police in Grandview busy over the weekend.

This past Friday, at 8:55 p.m. police responded to a burglary report in the 200 block of Division Street.

The second burglary reported to police came on Saturday at 6 a.m., from the 300 block of West 2nd Street.

Police received a theft report at 11:25 a.m. on Saturday in the 500 block of West 5th Street.

A third burglary report came into police at 4:40 p.m. on Saturday, also in the 500 block of West 5th Street.

Near that same location, on Sunday at 1:25 a.m., police received a report of drug activity at the corner of West 5th Street and Euclid Street.

Police received their fourth burglary report Sunday at 8:36 p.m. in the 200 block of Pleasant Avenue.

No information was available this morning as to the method of entry or what was taken from each of the burglarized residences.

Police also receivved a report of a fire Sunday night at 9:14 in the 300 block of Wilson Highway.
