Two 18-year-old women and a 19-year-old man were injured Thursday morning when one vehicle careened out of control, crossed the median and struck the other head-on near exit 69 on Interstate 82.
Both the 2001 Honda Civic, in which the women were riding, and a 1986 BMW 325, driven by the 19-year-old man, involved in the collision were totaled according to the Washington State Patrol.
Speed, too fast for the road conditions, likely led to the crash, according to the State Patrol report.
All three people were treated for minor injuries at the scene and released.
