GRANDVIEW - Police in Grandview have been busy in the past week with several burglaries and vehicle-related thefts.
On Monday, Dec. 19, police responded to the 200 block of East Wine Country Road. Police received a sex offense call at 11:47 a.m., no further information was available on this crime.
On Thursday, Dec. 22 police received two seperate burglary calls and a vehicle theft call.
Police received a car theft report at 5:14 p.m. from the 200 block of East Wine Country Road. The make and model of the car stolen were not available.
The first of two burglary calls that day came in the 100 block of North Viall Road. Police received the call at 7:42 p.m.
The second burglary call came in at 11:59 p.m. from the 200 block of Pleasant Avenue.
No information was available as to whether the burglarized buildings were homes or businesses an no information was available as to what was taken.
On Sunday, a car thief helped himself to a Christmas present, stealing a car from the 300 block of Wilson Highway. The theft was reported at 4:14 p.m. The vehicle's make and model weren't available.
Also on Christmas Day, a burglar broke into an apartment in the 200 block of Pleasant Avenue. Police received the call at 11:42 p.m. No information was available as to what was taken from the residence.
Monday, Dec. 26, a burglary was reported at 9:21 a.m. in the 500 block of Stassen Way. No further information was available.
Also on Monday, a vehicle theft was reported in the 500 block of West 3rd Street. Police received the call at 2:11 p.m. The vehicle's make and model weren't available.
This morning (Tuesday) at 12:54 a.m. police received another vehicle theft call. The theft was reported in the 100 block of Division Street.
No further information was available on the crime.
