'President's Day' breakfast scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 20

With breakfast-making implements in hand, Sunnyside Masonic lodge members (L-R) Theron Lochner, Russ Lindstrand and Pete Sartin are ready for this coming Sunday's annual President's Day breakfast feed.

The Sunnyside Masonic lodge will hold its traditional President's Day pancake breakfast this coming Sunday, Feb. 20.

"This breakfast is traditionally held on Sunday so that wifes and sweethearts can bring their families and friends directly from church to a prepared meal," said Masonic lodge spokesman Bill Flower.

The breakfast will consist of pancakes, link sausages, eggs and beverages. The all-you-can-eat meal comes at a cost of just $5 per person. The Sunnyside Masonic lodge is located at the intersection of Sixth Street and Harrison Avenue.

Funds generated from the 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. meal will be used for college scholarships and community projects undertaken by local Masons.
