Granger Lions Club continues to serve as lunch site

GRANGER - Earlier this week, Yakima County commissioners approved an agreement between the county and the Granger Lions Club. The agreement allows for the Granger Lions Club to continue serving as a nutrition site for the county.

According to the agreement, the county will provide food services at the Lions Club to senior citizens between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday every week.

The agreement calls for the county to pay the Granger Lions Club $50 a month for the use of its facility. The funds are to be put toward utility expenses at the site.
