Ruth Pemberton, 91, a long-time valley resident died Friday, Jan. 7, 2005, at her home.

She was born Sept. 29, 1913 in Garfield, Idaho, the daughter of Vera (Madsen) and E. Frank Bramwell.

She is survived by four daughters, Shirley Ann Knott of Auburn, Norma Gerene Anderson of Odgen, Utah, Virginia Marvel Pemberton and Carma Lynn Bos, both of Sunnyside; 16 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Kenneth Bramwell of Gresham, Ore.; and one sister, Marjory Goff of Bonanza, Ore.

Viewing and visitation will be held Friday, Jan. 14, 2005, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside and Saturday, Jan. 15, 2005, from 9:30 to 11:30 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2000 Lincoln Ave., Sunnyside. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 15, 2005, at 11 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Sunnyside. Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside, is in charge of arrangements.
