Prosser Wine and Food Fair to be held Aug. 13

PROSSER - What is arguably Eastern Washington's premier wine and food event, the 25th Prosser Wine and Food Fair, is just around the corner.

Advance tickets are still available for the Saturday, Aug. 13, event, which will host 32 of the state's leading wineries and 20 of the area's finest food establishments and organizations offering perfect pairings of gourmet delights.

Tickets are $15 per person in advance, or $20 per person the day of the event until sold out

Admission includes a collectible embossed wine glass, four scrip and a program outlining the various wines and foods available. The scrip is used to purchase wine tastings and food, and additional scrip may be purchased on the grounds. Wine may also be purchased to take home by the bottle or by the case.

No one under 21 years of age will be allowed on the grounds on the day of the fair. This applies to infants as well as older children, and those planning to attend are urged to plan ahead for child care needs.

The fair will be held at Art Fiker Stadium, on Paterson Road, from 3 to 9 p.m.

Entertainment will be provided by the Dirty River Blues Band from 3 to 5 p.m., and Foolish Fortune from 5 to 9 p.m.
