Agnes Dora Flores, 93, of Sunnyside went to be in the arms of her Heavenly Father Monday, May 30, 2005, from her home in Sunnyside.

Agnes was born April 3, 1912 in Marshall, Ark., the daughter of Clayton William and Nola May (Watts) Polk. Agnes was divorced in 1954. She later met and married Natividad (Vic) Flores on Aug. 10, 1957 in Granger.

She loved crocheting, gardening, yard work and caring for her roses.

Agnes is survived by her husband, Vic Flores of Sunnyside; one daughter, Patricia Walker and husband, James, of Cookeville, Tenn.; two sons, James C. Barnes and wife, Delores, of Montana, and Arlis J. Barnes and wife, Nancy, of Utah; 15 grandchildren and 29 great- grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Clayton Polk, Feb. 1, 1976; her mother, Nola Watts, Dec. 27, 1959; sisters, Gladys Hickling, Oct. 24, 1976 and Billy J. Hale, Feb. 14, 1972; one brother, Perry Polk, Feb.10, 1993; one grandson, Mike Barnes in 1975; one son-in-law, J.B. Walker, July 12, 1993, and daughter-in-law, Glena Barnes in 1971.

Viewing will be held Thursday, June 2, 2005, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside, and Friday, June 3, 2005, from 8 a.m. until time of funeral services at 10 a.m. at Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside.
