This Saturday, June 4, the Sunnyside swimming pool located in Central Park will be open for the first day of swimming season.
Open swim hours are from 1 to 3 p.m. and from 3:15 to 5:15 p.m. Family swim hours are from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Admission price is $1.50 for those 3 to 7 years old and $2.50 for swimmers 8 and older. Pool admission is free to those under three years old when accompanied by a paying adult.
Season passes are also available and can be purchased from the recreation office located at the Sunnyside Community Center, 1521 South First St., Sunnyside.
Individual season passes are $50 for in-city residents and $65 for non-city residents.
To purchase 10 swim passes, it is $12.50 for youths seven and under and $20 for those 8 to adult.
Family passes are $112.50 for in-city residents and $150 for non-city residents.
A family is considered to be a mother, father and their immediate minor children, all living in the same household.
Season passes entitle purchaser to open swims seven days a week.
Swim lessons are available in two-week sessions. Lessons are $20 for in-city residents and $26 for non-city residents. Two weeks of private lessons are also available for $40 for in-city residents and $52 for non-city residents.
