End of life care topic of seminar

to be held locally

Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Sunnyside is coordinating a free informational seminar that will present specific information people can use to prepare for their end of life care.

Seminar organizers say with the advance of modern medicine, there is a great deal of medical technology designed to keep a person alive, whether or not there is a chance for a cure. They add that it is important that individuals leave specific instructions for how long they want to be

kept "mechanically alive."

The Thursday, June 9, seminar will be held at the parish hall of the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Sunnyside, beginning at 7 p.m. Seminar presenters will include Dr. John Allen, attorney Steve Winfree and Rev. Doug Simonsen of Holy Trinity Church.

There is no charge to attend.
